That's why officials are busy basically every lap with things to clear the snow away, something I've really not seen often at international competitions

Not gonna happen, Ghiotto is skating against one of 2-3 others who could stay within half a minute of him

And then all of a sudden, the 5th race only has one skater 

 

I mean, normally when there's an uneven amount of skaters they have the first race with only one skater..this is just weird  (and it's not like someone DNS'ed, since on the start list they already had this too)

I think they removed someone who withdrew overnight (and did not write DNS).
