This crap again

Why on earth does AIBA give a tournament this important to a country that apparently can't even guarantee the safety of the participants...well the answer seems obvious of course.. $€

Its always very sad when something like that happens, but in this case its even more "shocking".

Two of our best athletes will have one chance less to qualify, in my opinion thats not fair at all.

Marutjan at least will have another chance, but Harutyunyan basically had only one chance to qualify for the olympics and he had to fight against number one seed from France in the second round ...

For him it was basically: Either you beat the number one seed or you are out of the olympics.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Why they replaced Mohamed Hamout (MAR) by Omar Abdul (GHA) at the list of all quota places in AIBA African Olympic Qualification Event

http://d152tffy3gbaeg.cloudfront.net/2016/02/AIBA-African-Olympic-Qualification-Event-Quota-places.pdf

Hamout was third in this tournament and he was in this list until yesterday , a doping case maybe ?

I think that was done a while ago. It may be possible that Morocco wanted a different athlete to compete in the event (possibly someone from the WSB/APB)

    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
