Team Lithuania exceeded expectations today, because I didn't think we would get into the pursuit with the women, cause they're beyond horrible this season. Kočergina had 36th ski-speed, so that's fairly promissing, too bad she can't climb in the pursuit, cause she is probably the worst shot in the top 60.

Aaaand.. Kočergina had one of the better shooting performances of the day. :p

Wonderful atmosphere again, that must be at least 80 people at the finish line.

 They are all journalists and staff members of the national federation? :p

I'm expacting some expats as well, waving their flags :p

I mean, the few people that were there at least were enthousiastically waving their flags and everything, but come on, so few people is sad...I am saying the truth when I believe I saw more people at the IBU Cup in Arber :p

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.

    • I don't think he'll mind too much
    • But his time isn`t valid at track record.
    • Vladimir Semirunniy dropped a 12:28 in the 10000m B division, which qualifies him for the Olympics as the fastest time this season (with the big asterisk that it was done in a quad start). Must be a real relief for the Polish team given he isn't looking likely to qualify for the 10000m (or the 5000m) by ranking.   Really problematic that they rank pair start and quad start times together, but whatever.   Also, the Wikipedia page for qualification is updated through the second day.
