Why did the French skater get silver and the Italian bronze? They both finished on 36 points and both of them had one second, one third and one fourth place so that's tied as well. Often the last event counts in these kind of things, but in that one Valanzano finished better, yet she still got the bronze.

"Skaters X and Y didn't make it to the final, so Merijn Scheperkamp could potentially make it to the medals. To do so..." (this is where I started thinking "Great, now we'll hear what he has to do for a medal") "....he will have to skate well and get enough points."

 

 

Thanks commentator. Next time please tell me how to win the 100m freestyle swimming. I am guessing that to do so one will have to swim well and finish fast enough?

But the result was shown like one minute after the final, pretty fast coin flipping
