The Latin America regatta will also be a good place for tripartite nations to make their case to be given one of the single sculls places. Overall we have Bermuda, Bolivia, Honduras and Paraguay competing in single sculls events. Bolivia will compete in only the men's while Bermuda will compete in only the women's. Paraguay will be the favourite to finish first among these nations and will probably end up winning either a men's or women's tripartite spot (assuming they don't qualify from this event)

That's a shame to do it like that, especially if that would mean the Olympic champions aren't the best in their class but only are lucky to not have to compete against stronger competitors.

Two things: First, there is continental quota in only in 4 categories. Second, in singles there are 9 WCh quotas and 3 additional for Europe, the strongest continent. In Lwt doubles there are 11 WCh quotas and 2 additional for Europe. So, if you are european, you can qualify as long as you are among the best 12/13 in the world. We can't say the olympics haven't the best competitors.

No Heywoodu is responding to what I posted. Fisa is proposing countries can compete only 10 to 12 events mpving forward. Fisa has also proposed dropping one of the fours events for men and adding a women's event

It´s official Slovakia will try for a miracle:d and will enter the olympic qualification. Lukáš Babáč will start in the single sculls, He competed for the first time in this category this weekend in Zagreb during the Croatia open and he won, ofc the olympic regatta will be another coffee  but cool that there at least something like a try :cheer:

and just btw a day before he won his "normal event" the lightweight single scull, it looks good for the world cup this season again:)

it seems that Bejik/Vaisc have power only for 1500m in this period, they were really great, but in last 500m it was on amateur level. I really don't remeber when we finished EC without medal, but maybe this is good.

It's crazy to know that more than one of your boats has a chance to win an Olympic medal :yes Everyone qualified to the final and we got three medals, which is wonderful for Lithuanian rowing.
