Unfortunately, British selection policy is rather more complicated than the first two past the post with OQTs at the trials.

Why? What are the changes that differ the swimming selection policy for the upcoming Rio 2016 from London 2012?

For Germany, Marco Koch and Paul Biedermann are prequalified. They simply need to finish 1st or 2nd at the German NC to qualify. Everybody else needs the German standard time in addition.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
