Phew. Jacobs to the final vs GB. As expected.

I have seen the women's hockey team at 2 Olympics this century, their final result was silver. All other games: GOLD.

 

Moral: i shouldn't see this team if I go to another Olympics

Hockey game ended being much better than I thought.

 

I hope the selectors have been taking a good look at the men's team these Olympics. Macklin Celebrini is currently 2nd in tournament points and if it wasn't for him, the team would be home already. Just bring the best players regardless of age.

Well with how poorly Great Britain performed in round robin, they were one Switzerland loss away from being out of the playoffs. They also had the chance to take us on in the semifinals, so not totally expected a few games ago.

I just meant, as expected before the Games started. Given how it went, it didn't seem like it would happen. 

 

Ironically, if Switzerland would have just lost to Italy today, they would have eliminated GB and faced Italy in the semis instead. Wonder what they're thinking about that now. They already had 1st locked up.
