So after an up and down day, the Mixed Curlers end 3-0.   in contrast with last time, the weaker link this time has been Bruce Mouat, having trouble to adjust his normal game.  Jen Dodds really has rescued it.  :SWE & :KOR tomorrow, neither of whom have been out of the ordinary this time.

Anyone following the figure skating? 
 

Fascinating story behind Spours (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/c3dm5z5r84go) I’ll confess I initially was surprised we’d got someone recovering from what appeared to be pretty competition limiting injury* competing but what a story of resilience and recovery! 
 

*Saying all this when I can just about skate backwards and never mastered a jump…

Disappointing that there's no Andrew Cotter commentary for opening ceremony. He at least makes a bit of effort to bring a bit of levity to what can be a boring program.

I do think yer man who they got on fit it quite well. He sounded like he was from the 20th century which is quite fitting. Gravitas

He's John Hunt, the same man who's wife and daughters were tragically murdered in a crossbow attack in 2024. Glad to see him doing well.

 

He'll also be commentating the Skeleton, Luge and Bobsleigh for the BBC.
