That doesnt contradict what I posted. The vacancy will be created if ALL of the 2026 Wrld Cup teams are.qualified. For now, Spain in the best placed non qualifier for that events and qualifies for the OQS -

The lack of fans is something i have mentioned and observed for a couple of years now. And it relates to the whole of Scandinavia (with some exceptions here and there, like Lahti last week). Whatever snow sport i watch in Scandinavia, it's always jarring how there are barely any fans, when compared to starts in Continental Europe. I don't know what is the reason, but it feels like people there have started taking skiing for granted and something that's an everyday thing and not a special sporting event. And they know their starts aren't going anywhere, because of history, climate situation and necessity. -

some of them already have the Italian passport, however all of them are eligible to get it, if required should our NOC and federation want (which is a big "if"), we are always able to field a very competitive team, even better than this one on paper (we could call up pitchers like Gerrit Cole and Zac Gallen, for instance)
