And in fact going further into it what we have on UHD in the pre-Games slot

Alpine downhill training

One featured curling match per session

One ice hockey game per time slot

And then once the games start, not everything, but at least several UHD transmission per day.

Where can you check if it is UHD or not?

It's not very obvious.  But on my Discovery+ Timetable page I can see two different streams for this morning's Alpine training.  If you click on both, one of them is labelled....

Ultra High Definition coverage from Bormio as the world's fastest skiers reacquaint themselves with the iconic Stelvio slope ahead of the Men's Downhill on Saturday.

⁦⁨4K UHD, HDR, and Dolby Atmos availability depends on plan and device.⁩⁩

And for tonight's curling, there are two streams for the Britain / Norway curling, with the same thing.  (The other curling matches have just one stream each)

No mention of 4K broadcasts yet when looking at Stan sport in Australia. Really excited to finally see the winter games in 4K for the first time when they've got it running.

no uhd hdr with the good old (cheap) discovery+ subscription, you need the most expensive hbo max package to get it, at least here in Italy 😤🤬

In Brazil, there will be broadcasts on both free channels (CazeTV, TV Globo and geTV) and paid channels (SporTV).

Curling is already free today, so it will be much easier to follow the games this time. :cheer:
