So the voting draw has been completed. Here is the provisional voting order. Once a voting schedule for the Grand Final has been created we will look to see if there is any nation eligible to request a swap.

 

Denmark will be opening the voting followed by their Scandinavian neighbour Sweden.

Festival of Music

 

For this year’s Festival of Music I thought I would change it up a bit. Since we are approaching the festive holiday season, I want you all to post some festive songs from your country. If you don’t celebrate Christmas then perhaps some other song that has a special place in your heart during an important celebration.

 

 

I’m going to start with a Christmas song from Ireland’s TISC Annual 2023 representatives Picture This.

I like the concept of this Festival of Music! I will also share a couple of Christmas songs from Spain's TISC Open 2024 representative David Bisbal.

 

The first one 'Los peces en el río' (The fish in the river) is a flamenco/pop cover of a traditional villancico originated in the 1500s and the second one 'Todo es posible en Navidad' (All is possible in Christmas) was relased last year.

Although I am a Christian, my family doesn't usually celebrate Christmas according to tradition (although it's my birthday, so I do celebrate something that day ).

However, even for me, it's impossible not to hear this song playing somewhere around this time of year:
