Too bad training runs aren't official :)  RCS finished first in the M downhill training run today.  (But I know they don't mean anything, people aren't giving their all, etc.)  RCS is a dark horse...hope he can steal one away when the time comes!¡!

His mother did it in 1972.  I watched her gold medal run live, still one of the great Olympic moments I’ve seen.  I’d go wild if RCS wins gold this time.  After his silver medal 4 years ago, NBC interviewed his mother from her home.  This time, I’d hope she’d be there in person.

Well, she made it down at 7:15 am.   She was leading until the last section of the course.
