I think it's quite outrageous the qualification system will be decided AFTER this event will be over.

 

Especially with the team increase for LA where some continents will get a quota increase, so it's still very uncertain if South America will have 2 or 3 spots, and this will be decided when the third team of the qualifying event will be already known. This would not pass the integrity criteria in any process

Yeah, using 2024 as the base for the first 12 teams, it's logical to give Asia and Europe an increase of 1 and 2 quotas respectively. The final quota though has many possibilities ranging from giving Europe a 5th quota, an inter-confederation match between two continents or creating a final qualification tournament.

 

I imagine Argentina will push for a more favourable qualifier.
