and also our girls are way better than expected :yikes::cheer:

The Italians are always capable of doing 1-2 great runs on any given day, but the challenge is the consistency and if they could do it 4 times.

of course...

in fact I don't trust them until I see the entire competition

but if they were, so to say, constantly around the 10th place, it would be clear that they don't stand a chance, meanwhile now at least there's hope to see some magic

I've looked at Beijing's training runs. You couldn't have guessed Ludwig would win handily - apart from Kindl but he did win 3 races out of 4 and only conceded 1 hundredth of a second in the 4th. Let's hope we will witness some turnarounds.

Have you got the training run results you can link please?

I honesty don't take much into these training results. Expect Loch or Mueller to still win. Cream will rise to the top.

First glimpse of the Luge, and our first look at the generic all-purpose Australian Commentator watching the sport for the first time.

The girl who co-commented the W Ski Jumping training this morning was also something else  I really believe she saw someone jumping on skis for the first time in her life

At this rate Sochowicz might face an uphill battle to even make Top 20

:POL as usual makes a bid to become the best country without an operational luge track :p

    • Not in modern times (believe it has happened back in the 19th century). The Social Democrats were rather close in the mid-30s, but generally it's been the Social Democrats as the largest getting challenged by either Venstre (the old, liberal party) or the Conservatives (though their latest peak was in the 80s). Keep in mind that most Danish governments have been minority governments. The latest government (well, it's still the government until the new one is formed) was the first one since the early 90s and only the 5th since the Second World War.
    • Always, when I go from the high mountains- Moena to Trento at the beginning of March, I could already feel spring - green all around, olive trees etc. A nice contrast.
