I enjoyed these WCH very much. Very entertaining. 
 

Wonder how much US swimming improves in LA 28. Women can get some more gold medals if they are healthy but men don’t look good at all. If Marchand swam 200 fly here they probably wouldn’t have a single gold medal. 
 

Great 4x100 free relays, M 100 back, M 400 free finals…

 

and a very nice Polish medal in M 200 fly . I know, no Marchand, no Milak, but Chmielewski was distant 4th in Paris behind Kharun and here he was much faster than him so he is obviously our biggest hope for LA

 

Sieradzki in M 200 free a big surprise as well

 

now watching some replays on YouTube with Korean commentary because why not? 🤪

we already discussed that in the general thread, I think

 

however, yesterday's news is that both Pilato and Tarantino have been sanctioned with a 90-day ban (starting yesterday), which means that they will miss the short course season

 

I think it's a bit unfair, as it was proved by the Singapore authorities that it was Tarantino the actual burglar and Pilato was more a victim of her teammate trying to hide the stolen goods in her bag

 

in any case, it's already history...the damage has been done and the world goes on
