We just say shorts then tennis shorts, football shorts etc.  Knickerbockers is the American word for Plus Fours ie what Tintin wears.

In Poland we call them 'pumpy' aka pumps. I think this is what Payne Stewart used to wear in golf, lol.

After 6-0 6-0, millions of breaks during whole competition, I really had difficulties watching W tournament.

Hence - my statement from above.

In many sports women deserve to earn much more than men.

So I really dont understand your post.
