Actually skis weren't the problem...she basically blacked out and had to be taken to the medical center (it took us quite a while to find her). She's better now, full of anger for tomorrow at least.

That's absolutely the plan! Four minutes or so going all out. As she told the medic: "Maybe see you tomorrow, because I'm definitely going to give everything..."

Lordy, Slind has the worst equipment change in the history of all Olympic Sports, goes from medal contender to also ran in about 10 seconds.

 

Then compounds the error by trying to charge back right away, instead of taking her time.
