:ITA Alessia Succo :yikes: 8.07 over the girls' 60m Hurdles, which is a new U-18 World record (previously held by :FRA Cyrena Samba-Mayela with 8.10) :yikes: :yikes: :yikes:

Shorter hurdles, right?

one more thing-in the men's pole vault standings there is a chinese guy named Chenyang Li with a result of 5.85 which is the new national record.the crazy thing about this is that before his competition on the 1st of feburary where he achieved his record..his previous pb was 5.64:hyper:.....he achieved that result on the 18 january of this year ....gonna keep my eye out for him.

It's not too crazy if you look at some of the other top pole vaulter's progressions around the same age.

i do wonder how many went from a 5 60 pb something to an 5 80 pb something in one comp cause that sounds wild to me.

Okay maybe it's not as many as I thought but improvements in the mid teens at a single meet aren't that uncommon in the top pole vaulters. Sam Kendricks did improve by 0.21 in a single meet from 5.60 to 5.81 which is similar to this Chinese guy

I only looked through the top 10 all time.

i see, well i didn't think he was the first one to do something like that but i think that does prove my point,he is worth looking out for.
