European Athletics announce which of the lower-division meets will be streamed Free To Air this season!  :thumbup:

 

First up, the International Championships.

24 May – European 10,000m Cup, Pacé (FRA)
24-29 June – European Athletics Team Championships Division 2 & 3, Maribor (SLO)
27-29 June – European Athletics Team Championships Division 1, Madrid (ESP)
17-20 July - European Athletics U23 Championships, Bergen (NOR)
7-10 August – European Athletics U20 Championships, Tampere (FIN)

 

Some of these might be picked up by your national broadcaster though - usually happens with the Team Championships at any rate and probably the age groups in some countries.

Draws for the World Relays now out.  Reports of problems as some of the usual-suspect nations are unable to cope with Chinese bureaucracy, pay their athletes etc etc., So expect some DNS.

And we have a C teams in the mixed :p A bit unexpected that we advanced to the final.

:GER & :ESP now the ones with red faces.

 

Actually :GER finish, but with a slow time.  Same for :NED

 

It is the W-M exchange that's causing all the problems as predicted.

    • Yes, but Geiger and Wellinger have both achieved some success in major events, while Paschke hasn't. Geiger certainly has a better chance in Cortina than Paschke at now, but it has to be the his decision to withdraw and give a chance to his team- mate. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fair to him. I don't think Horngacher will force him to withdraw.
