Well... few years ago it was to much for the German National Broadcaster - for athletics they constantly said 'you can watch everything on the online stream' - but forget to set the stream and streamed nothing. -

Do you think we will get athletes pages on the official website ? Usually athletes per sports/noc are searchable on the official olympics website but nothing so far. Only the schedule/calendar. -

looked like the best team in the tournament outside of their hiccup against With Qatar's "Golden Age" ending the parity in Asia has returned. On a good day a number of teams could win. Of course, now no one is close to the top European levels. -

Thanks for sharing it — I made the site and only found this great forum because of your post. I’ll keep updating the predictions from bookmaker odds (not only AI) until the Games. It’s not 100% perfect, but I think it gives a good overall view per NOC. I also added an interactive calendar where you can filter by country to see the best medal chances per day for your NOC: https://winter-olympics-2026.datasportiq.com/calendar I'm French 🇫🇷 , and I hope we can beat our winter record by winning 6 gold medals. We need to stay dominant in biathlon as always, and ski mountaineering is a nice addition for us we're favorites in the women's and mixed events. -

The USOPC backing this doesn't make much sense to me because if they do believe Uhlaender got cheated and is the best choice to go to the Olympics they can... just pick her over Ro.

Here's the report, for anyone interested. (It's not as damning towards the Canadians as the headlines would lead you to believe...not shocked.). In here, it does seem as if Uhlaender was hoping to get picked over Ro...yet I thought I read elsewhere (sorry, can't find the source right now) that she ultimately didn't want to take Ro's place... (which wouldn't make sense if it wasn't going to increase our quota). She's probably upset at a number of things...not being picked to WC team first, not having a place for the Olympics, and then this with Canada. It is interesting that the USOPC is backing this, though...one would hope that it wouldn't stoop to the level of personal grievances... final-order-uhlaender-1-1.pdf -

It's funny how the tables have turned somewhat where 15-20 years ago, it was Americans who wanted the Canadian coverage and now it's the other way around. And I say about Peacock a lot that even though it's a paid service (remember our TV networks and Olympic committee are not affiliated with the government, so the obligation to provide everything for free isn't as strong), it's $11 for a month which you can cancel right after. So that means the entry point to get literally everything from the Olympics is as low as it has ever been. NBC's coverage has evolved a lot in the last decade. No more primetime embargoes. Much more coverage on the broadcast network. And the streaming platform is pretty solid, which is an alternative to the usual over-produced network coverage. I do remember the Shiffrin race where NBC didn't just focus on her briefly.. they stayed on her for several minutes even though other skiers were making their runs. I usually can forgive NBC for some of their flaws, but that was a really egregious one that I hope they wouldn't think to repeat, although it would be tougher with no live events in primetime -
