copravolley 229 Posted August 1 #124 Share Posted August 1 I will be happy with 10 gold medals for us. Comparing with Tokyo is a little wrong, because then we won 5 gold in athletics - 2nd week of competition. Now this result is impossible to repeat. For now, the USA is 9 gold medals behind their previous Games, which would place them closer to 30 than 36. This is a gap that will be hard to make up. Dont forget US has a lot of silvers in Athletics in Tokyo. They will easily get 12 gold (+5) than the last games. MedalChampion

Faramir 359 Posted August 2 #130 Share Posted August 2 According to wikipedia China did not win a medal on the last day of London 2012, are they wrong? This would make the streak much shorter.
