Based on her family, their jobs, and where they are from/live she probably grew up poor so I'm sure this was a big deal for the whole family to go to Paris just to be disappointed...

Willems winning bronze is some story. She looked in major trouble in her first bout but then Perez had that waza-ari turned into a shido. Would have never bet on her winninga medal but Teltsidou also made a clear mistake with the move attempt from her back.
