Pavlo 141 Posted August 9 #461 Share Posted August 9 What i mean...photos of her younger...and this boxer...like way of moving changed to men-like. Some gestures, details...i'm not 100% sure. Sounds crazy, i know. Just hope it's not her brother, she didn't dominate that much earlier. Just sth is not right about it in my eyes opinion, i mean exactly this. 1% doubt imo. I fell in love with sports.....since i first seen it

A body double competing would actually be the craziest sporting scandal ever xD

I'm actually very bearish on Boxing's chances of being in LA, not because of this controversy but because World Boxing is simply not taking off and the IBA has done absolutely nothing to make the IOC regret stripping their recognition. Americans will have free hosting quota for boxing so they can count on some easy medals hence the sport will probably stay for LA. Also the war in Ukraine should be over by 2028 and we'll see how that IBA feud goes. This blinking contest is only for the naive masses, nobody is boycotting OG over politics anymore. I have less faith in weightlifting since it's a sport USA doesn't win many medals so it's expendable for them.

I mean weightlifting has already been confirmed to be in LA so... who knows how many events and quotas they will have, but it's there. Boxing is actually the only remaining question mark on the program, and being so close to the games IMO it's really not looking good.

Pavlo 141 Posted August 9 #467 Share Posted August 9 (edited) Sure + specific training, tops etc. To be true many boxers here look a bit "menly". Yes, one her opponent too. From Thailand as i remember. I mean...i wouldnt ask them for a dinner 😉. What frightens me most is that right side in my country prepared hundreds of "events" for tomorrow (FB etc). Politicians who want more points in their regions. They really will treat Julia's semi as a circus, with lots lots lots of them like "kick this trans in his balls". And this is the nicest part. Yes, Poland. Former olympic medallist in GR wrestling too. Brrrrr...sadly often from her political side. Well, nice and pretty girls don't go to boxing and wrestling :P These sports can be disfiguring: broken noses, protruding ears, etc. It's a good thing I once read a study that women can be more ruthless during a fight than men Pavlo

Boxing being removed from OG programme also means the removal of DSD boxers in women categories so no reason for controversy anymore. Unless they switch to wrestling or judo? I have friends in Poland and I know that you no longer have the right-wing government that you used to have. This new one probably won't make a circus out of sports and this fight?
