Athletes don't participate in both. Someone told me we can have upto 5 race walkers if you get 2 relay team quotas. Since we qualified 3 and additionally 4 others have got standards we have put our best 2 women race walkers (just 1 has individual Q ) in mixed relay along with 2 men so as to provide more race walkers an opportunity.

How many pairs can actually every NOC qualify. I checked the start list, some countries have even 3 pairs. Each country qualifies one or it's possible to qualify 2?
