He only has the b standard in the 400 IM so he can't swim it as long as Jankovics is in. Maybe Swimming Canada will give him another shot to get it at the Mare Nostrum or something

Blake Tierney and Javier Acevedo qualify in the men’s 100m backstroke! 53.48 for Tierney, and 53.55 for Acevedo.

I can see us nominating more than four athletes in the 4x200m free relay. I wouldn't be surprised if we sent the top six, assuming they all finish in the low 1:59.xx.

 

We only have 12 relay only athletes that we can send so that might make things difficult considering we're likely forced to use four for the men's 4x200m relay
