Taekwondo is a brutal sport to qualify in.

Qualification should be like in Judo. The best 16 (1x country) get in, period.

 

If some continent is not represented, deduct 1 quota from that top 16 until all of them are.

Watching Teachout fight she certainly deserves her Olympic place. Explosive and high-scoring she was very entertaining to watch. She beat the Olympic gold medalist at Tokyo in national trials and now has beaten the world champion. Highlight of the tournament. Shame for Soltero though.
