Rafa Maciel 1,493 Posted March 20 #62 Share Posted March 20 Interesting observation made by Rhona Howie in the commentary for v . The Scottish team are stuck in a cycle where they are losing matches, so they are lacking confidence. But it's also meant that they've started to question and challenge Morrison's calls/ice judgement. That is undermining the skip and causing her own confidence to plumet with the net effect being they'll continue to lose matches.
Rafa Maciel 1,493 Posted March 20 #63 Share Posted March 20 Well I didn't see that coming - a 3 for in the 8th end Josh
Rafa Maciel 1,493 Posted March 20 #64 Share Posted March 20 Watching match and the team dynamic is just bizarre - Morrison has completely lost control of her team. You'd think after taking a 3 in the 8th, they'd be pretty buoyant. But Morrison called a shot, the other 3 disagreed so they called a time-out. Morrison didn't even speak during the time-out. The coach eventually favoured Morrison's original call and then they made a total hash of the shot. intoronto and Josh

Form can change between now and Milano-Cortina 2026 obviously, but right now Sweden, Canada, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, and potentially United States (could switch with Italy) would all be favoured over them. After those seven teams Denmark and Norway would be the only other teams that have a chance although those are long shots at the moment (Rørvik’s silver last year was a fluke IMO) Edited March 20 by Josh

I'd argue it just feels like that because of how badly have been playing - I think their defeat to was a bigger upset
