Unrelated to the event, but does anyone know why Swimming Canada chose not to add pre-selected swimmers to the team in specific events before the Canadian Olympic Trials? They did it for Tokyo.

Tokyo was only because of covid I believe. A lot of swimmers had trouble crossing the border or finding places to train.

All 4 men had good times. In Tokyo I would assume Liendo will come in for either knox or Acevedo. I just hope we can get a breaststroker into the high 58's ? Then maybe a medal might be in the coversation
