:UGA Rebecca Cheptegei, 44th in the Paris Olympics marathon, was covered in gasoline and set on fire by her partner/husband/father of their children in Kenya, the umpteenth case of violence between 'partners' there...

She's apparently in bad condition in the hospital.

As per rules, to be eligible for wild card entry in diamond league, you need to participate and have a result in one of the diamond leagues in the current season.

But Sydney McLaughlin Levrone doesn't fulfil the criteria but still received wild card.
