 Provisional Olympic team after Day 1 (3 athletes)

 

US will send as big of a team as possible, so should three athletes not reach the entry standard in an event (likely for the women’s 10000m and triple jump), they would select the highest ranked athletes on the Road to Paris.

 Alexis Holmes will have to wait to see if her 50.19 is good enough for one of the non-automatic Q’s.

According to Wikipedia, the top 3 in the Women's triple jump final tonight will make it as only 9 athletes in total have the entry standard.

Well yeah, it’s pretty likely that 3 US women will qualify through the Road to Paris, but given that it’s not official yet I decided not to include it.
