Another gold for as Loic Meillard wins the slalom ahead of McGrath & Strasser. Noel went out from the lead after 1st run but he was losing time to Meillard anyway so would have been second or third at best IMO. -

Very happy for Preuss indeed Joins an elite group of German women with a Pursuit World title. Lora Hristova with 20/20 for one of her best senior races as well. If only she (and our whole team actually) could ski faster, so we could have more chances for a top 10.

It's taken 11 years or so, but finally there is individual gold for Preuss I can hardly think of an athlete who deserves it more at this level, having gone through so much tragedy and shit for so long. Can honestly not imagine any actual sports fan not wishing this on her, overcoming all this is kind of what sports is about.
