Zermatt is proposing a 5km Downhill for the World Cup!  The race would start in Switzerland and end in Italy. There would be more than 1000m of elevation drop.

Interesting as that sound, the bigger thing that I had missed is that Wengen is apparently in danger

Don’t quite see how this will work, but I guess we’ll find out. Geez, the international sports calendar is going to be a mess this cycle.

One would assume either before or after the Olympics. There is quite literally 0% chance their plan is to move it to exactly the relatively short period in which the Olympics are held.

I would imagine the World Championships will be heavily impacted by the Olympics though. Right?
