Biathlon IBU World Cup 2023 - 2024

To be fair I think there are at least 10 nations that can medal in the single mixed relay. This season we finished 5s of the podium. Last year I think Latvia finished 3rd in one of the races. Swiss always do well, Austria won silver last season... It's much more competitive than say Mixed Relay or normal relays.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssss,Strolia finally has another good sprint:clap:,makes sense that it's in Ruhpolding, his best results track ;).

This is his best sprint result ever, not counting the magical Ruhpolding sprint in 2022.

Right, it's now getting close to February, about time to ask the question: who on Eurosport had the 'brilliant' idea to somehow have some Dorothea Wierer special thingy....Every. Single. Race? The one winter sport of which I generally watched the pre-race stuff....

Some really poor shooting today among some of the favorites.

Yeah, makes sense with that fog though :p

Some athletes really had tough luck in terms of the fog, which very much cleared up quite quickly.

Very, very happy for Lena Häcki-Gross, she's such a joy to watch racing, and she often seemed so close to a first victory (and usually a podium) !

The French girls team is so good this season, I love it ! And there is still such a good team in IBU Cup and Junior Cup too...!

i guess they want her as a key fixture after her retirement, probably this year (or even this wek) so are just getting her signed up before anyone else does.

    • this is not funny at all, pal
    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
