First times starting to roll in for the men's middle distance event in orienteering, where the first medals of the Games will be won.

Rohac :SVK clubhouse leader at the moment, though he was the first off the start line this morning.

Were is the streaming?

No, and the live tracking wasn't available either :(

Rancan :SUI would appear to be the first gold medallist of The World Games 2025 (assuming there's no changes to the orienteering results)

Also, as far as I can tell (and I could be wrong, of course) Westergard :CAN has won his nation's first medal in orienteering at The World Games.

Someone fix that website please, come on

Results of the women's compound archery qualification:

https://twg2025.swisstiming.com/hide/en/Info/ResultList/ARCWCOMPOUND----------QUAL000100--

Try loading the page, like any individual page, it simply won't open unless you open it straight from the main schedule page (therefore leaving that page, and having to go back, select the right date again, for every single result one would want to check).

Live tracking links for orienteering's middle distance events can be found on this page: https://orienteering.sport/event/the-world-games-2025/middle/

Reminder, those events will NOT be broadcast.

The live results links on that page refer straight back to the official results system, where, again, only the main page opens because it is for some reason impossible to link to individual pages there :p

what sports are people going to be watching today, i'm mainly watching lacrosse so i cant pretend i know about it come LA28 and will dabble in some softball and definitely some korfball, anything else people think worth watching?

A bit of karate finals, probably only to be disappointed like in Tokyo (I came in thinking it was the kind of combat sport where it's about fighting as hard as you can, instead of in sort of a controlled manner). For sure the first :NED group match in korfball, gotta do my parents proud of course (without korball I wouldn't exist, so..), and some of the live saving out of curiousity.

My own story along that lines is that without a prisoner of war camp for German soldiers in :SCO I would not exist......
