After winning 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze in Judo, the Dutch team loses the second round of the mixed team tournament to Italy. Real shame. I fear that all our strongest judoka were in the lightest weight classes this time (which is the opposite in our senior team actually).

I have a friend that's in EYOF, helping with managing our delegation, he said everything was organised very well, so not only were the viewers happy, but the athletes, at least on our part, as well

and that´s all. Was one Great week of sport and fun, but sadly as everything also this had to end at some point.

 

Good news is that apparently everything worked well, people involved to the games will return home with good feeling and great memories, some inside the team with probably more memories and maybe also something more thanks to what they will remember Banská Bystrica
