I would choose Ricci to replace Vettel, just because he is more talented than any possible drivers named above. And I think Ferrari want an experienced driver especially they are hungry of trophies. But I'm curious where Vettel will go...:mumble:

I don’t think he’ll have an F1 drive next year. He may have to look towards other series. Maybe a WEC hypercar or something.

I wouldn't exactly say so, most of the others named haven't had a chance yet to drive in the kind of cars Ricciardo has and some have definitely shown the kind of speed that's expected from top-level F1 drivers. Like most people I think he's the most realistic option, also because of experience, but I doubt he'd be the best - even though he definitely is good, of course.

Wouldn't be surprised to see 2020 being the end of the road for Vettel.

After Brazil 2019 crash I'm surprised it will happen after "season 2020" (whatever, or in fact whether will it be). In fact, what Vettel did in Russia was even bigger "fuck you" shown to Charles.

Whom do I see in the second Ferrari? I'd have said Verstappen, but that would bring the second Prost-Senna-like battle, which I wouldn't really like. Giovinazzi - hell no! Both McLaren guys impressed me last year, so maybe one of them.

I don't believe in them thinking about Kubica anymore, although if they'd test him the result might surprise all of us.

Norris is without any doubt one of the most talented drivers on the current grid, but he is one of the few guys who already have a contract for next year, so I doubt he'll leave the team that easily :p

I definitly hope he won't, he is one of the few drivers who on a good day has at least a chance to challenge for a place in the top-5 or so without being in one of the three top teams. It's plain boring to see three teams take almost literally every podium position year after year.

Motorsport.com Italia claims Carlos Sainz will be announced as Leclerc's teammate within the next 48 hours:

That makes most sense, watch Ricciardo become a front runner for the McLaren seat next.

Perfect timing for the Fernando Alonso return then. :d If not, Giovinazzi would be my second option. The guy always had Ferrari in his destiny.

Alonso was Captain Asshole in a good car and an awesome dude in a mediocre car...I hope he stays away or goes to Williams or something (I know, he won't) :d

Yeah one might not have expected them to go for someone who would pose a very real threat for Leclerc, so Sainz would be a smart option indeed.

Oh and Ricciardo already demanded too much money from Ferrari earlier, which is a major part of why he didn't end up there. Renault did want to pay him what he wanted, so that's where he went.

It's funny, Sainz owns his F1 career to Vettel who shocked Red Bull by choosing Ferrari in the summer of 2014. It happened after Red Bull said that Jean-Eric Vergne will be released from Toro Rosso at the end of that season. This meant Red Bull had to elevate Daniil Kvyat into Red Bull and left a vacant seat at Toro Rosso which Sainz filled on the rebound (the other option would be Vergne coming back but that would look stupid since they said he's out). Red Bull's original plan for 2015 was Vettel/Ricciardo and Verstappen/Kvyat in Toro Rosso.

Wow, that would be surprising for me. And for sure he will have some offers from other teams. I think it's too early for him to retire from F1.

    • Yes, that's Haaland's cousin Braut Brunes. If he has a bad day Raków is usually scrapping for 1-0 victory unless they concede a goal. Ivi Lopez is the playmaker but he's not as sharp since an injury last season.   Lech & Jagiellonia are the two strongest clubs right now, Raków probably #3. I discount league surprises and of course Legia which is stuck in relegation zone
    • On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.
    • Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.
    • Fiorentina must play seriously from the first match, becous they played with a reserve squad in both matches against Jagiellonia, with the exception of extra time in the second. Unfortunately, Fiorentina are still close to the relegation zone in Serie A, which explains the staff decisions in the Conference League. It they advance further, they will probably play against Crystal Palace in 1/4 final.
