Let's hope and pray that deal will be signed...one of the classics on the calendar, it'd be so sad if that would go to some new track that I think isn't even built yet..

Just now, by big coincidence, I read that there was a fatal crash (again!) at Interlagos in the SuperBike Brasil last weekend :(

It's really not a track for motorbikes, but for cars it is fantastic.

By the way, have you ever had any problems around there in terms of personal safety? Interlagos is 'famous' as THE hotspot for criminal activity in the F1 world, like stuff being stolen from teams, not always without intimidation.

Yeah, unfortunately.

As you said, Interlagos has a high risk for the motorcycle pilots. I do not know why they insist in keep these races there.

I don't live in the neighbourhood of Interlagos, so I can not tell you about the safety in general there. I just mentioned because it is an easy acess for me

But, I believe that's a specific problem only during the F1 weekend.

I have already been there twice for F1, and many others to go karting in a track next to the circuit and I have never any issue like that.

Yeah I know there have been rollerskiing events there (I believe on a long stretch of asphalt parallel to the straight that comes after the Curva do Sol), and they never had this kind of problem neither :p

Just wondering in case I ever go there :d

    • Spalletti is a much better coach than Gattuso, but what did his team show at the Euro against Switzerland, or in Oslo against Norway? Nothing... I'm afraid that even Guardiola and Klopp wouldn't help here- well, maybe they could somehow push Bosnia through, but what next?
    • Denmark can only blame themselves for that Belarus match. A win and they'd qualify with a game to spare alas...   Gattuso has no business being a manager at this level. Italian problems come from the lack of domestic talent in Serie A but Gattuso ain't gonna fix anything.
