Leclerc's reaction says quite a lot as well by the way. You could very much hear in his voice that he was having major Bianchi and Hubert flashbacks.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Fittipaldi surname back in F1 :cheer:

Wow. There's a lot of names I would not have been too surprised with, but Pietro Fittipaldi was not on that list :yikes:

Last sort of alright thing he did was winning the 2017 World Series, but that already had a very poor field by then...well, he's been their test driver for a while, so I guess he knows the car at least. Still, Pietro Fittipaldi. Alrighty.

I'm curious why the barrier that came after that wasn't just made longer. Of course it's easy to say that now, but why have this diagonal thing there anyway?

Because the barrier is after the exit of the corner. It's not like Grosjean crashed coming out of the corner, he basically chopped across Kvyat on the straight already. Nobody expects a head-on crashes on the straights.

Fittipaldi is the official Haas reserve driver, I guess have they contractual obligations to him?

And Callum Ilott is busy with the F2 finale next weekend as well. But for this, it would be a coin-flip who replaces Grosjean tbh.
