6th place for Tomasz Marczynski in one of the early season Spanish races....this guy is weird, almost literally all of his good results have come in a 'contract year' (last year of contract so needing good results for a new contract)

Tomek / Maniek is a strange cyclist on the one hand he can ride a great race, and on the other he is getting some fool. In my opinion, even if he doesn't have results, he is a good soul who gives color to the peloton and Lotto Soudal.

Just give him 1-year contracts and he'll always be good, but they don't seem to get that certain cyclists only perform when their ass is on the line :p

I am confused. Veljko Stojnic finished 111st at the 1st stage of Emirates tour but he is ranked 3rd overall. How is that possible? I see that they deduced 5 sec.

Final two (likely sprint or solo breakaway) stages of the United Arab Emirates Tour called off because of cases of Coronavirus affecting Italian team support - not riders though.  :GBR Adam Yates is the overall winner.

And it's on!

Just reminded myself that Lidl sponsors all these Flemish Classics so for this entire month all the race parcours go past all the Lidl stores in Belgium.

Once you notice something like this you can’t ever unsee it!
