Pretty excited...... For India the critical event is the men's 10m rifle....... We have closed out 7 / 8 quotas in the 10M events...... If we close this quota  we will have the full quota  of 12/12 including the mixed pairs...... That is the group we hope to dominate....... 

 

In the 25m events we have 1/4 quotas and with Manu  being a double header in the women .... I am hoping for two quotas one in men and the other in women......... 

 

And in the 50m events we have a 1/4 so possibly at least one quota place 

 

In shotgun we have really struggled with 0 quotas so possibly one or two quotas...... 

 

So hopefully 4-5 quota  places........

Surprised to see Iran having competitors in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol. that's the first time. as far as I knew that event didn't exist here because of lack of equipment. and Iranians aren't the worst shooters in the competition. (not that far from that though)

 

I was hoping for Nekounam to qualify , but now we have Sedaghat in the final. we will see ...

So the host quota will get reallocated to an unqualified nation with the highest ranked MQS qualifier. That's pretty significant given the depth of nations in 10 m air rifle.
