There was an earthquake and a cyclone recently so the government is unwilling to finance the competition.

Hypothetically it is still possible to let the Israeli team in Jakarta, the GBK stadium complex has a hotel in it (although it is located at the easternmost point of the complex). Seal the complex gates and play behind closed doors... Not going to be a pretty solution but if situation is getting worse I think both FIFA and the Indonesian government can consider this.

How unlucky Indonesia is , ofc no one there thought about Israel qualifying to U20 WC when trying to host the tournament , but it happened

The organizers said that they will do their best to lobby various stakeholders to keep the tournament in Indonesia from yesterday's press conference. The journalists present at the location asked the feasibility of some proposed crazy solutions such as holding Israeli matches in Papua or Singapore

 

And now we're getting reports that Argentina is ready to step in. This is getting interesting
