Same shit as Poland's most famous epic poem that starts with: "O Lithuania, my homeland" The poet who wrote this was Polish but simply lived in Lithuania then under Russian Empire rule but currently his birth place is actually within Belarus borders Nothing like the geo-politics of centuries gone by! hckošice 13,720 Posted January 19, 2020 #495 Share Posted January 19, 2020 Shiffrin in rage mood, destroying everyone again, Vlhová with quite bad qualification runs and will have a very hard draw, if she pass Danioth, then probably she´ll have to face Brignone in 2nd round, Robinson in QF and Holdener/Rebensburg in semis, Shiffrin thanks her win in the qualifiers has basically no opposition until the final yes the clash of 1st round is certainly Holdener vs Rebensburg
Kirkpatrick 144 Posted January 19, 2020 #496 Share Posted January 19, 2020 Zubčić is in nice form though. And PGS is as dull as always.
hckošice 13,720 Posted January 19, 2020 #497 Share Posted January 19, 2020 Vlhová out in 1st round. Great runs by Danioth, Kudos to the swiss, she beat her in both runs.
phelps 7,459 Posted January 19, 2020 #498 Share Posted January 19, 2020 bad knee injury for Danioth good results for the Italian girls (3rd, 4th and 5th place at the end of the day)... and overall, very entertaining competition with a lot of surprises (if someone did dare to bet on a gold medal clash between Direz and Moerzinger, probably right now he/she'd be preparing his/her luggage to fly to the Caribbean for the rest of his/her life)... p.s. first ever WC podium for both the finalists... Kirkpatrick 144 Posted January 19, 2020 #499 Share Posted January 19, 2020 Apparently, 20-3 for blue course. Even if it's boring, they should make it atleast more fair with two races from 1/8 finals. De_Gambassi
