Power Rankings

21st May 2023

Talk about “America the Beautiful.”
Coach David Quinn’s team has played some beautiful, winning hockey so far.
That’s why the U.S. tops our fourth Power Rankings of the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship with a perfect 6-0 record after demolishing France 9-0 in Tampere.
The Swiss are right there in second place, also with a perfect record, after pulling off a 4-2 win over the Czechs in Riga. The Swedes move up to third place based on their own shutout versus France (4-0).
And there’s more fun to come.
Stay tuned for our next Power Rankings coming up at the end of the preliminary round!
