Women's Boxing AIBA World Championships 2019

Recommended Posts

Only seven boxers in the heavyweight division, which means top seed Yang Xiaoli gets a bye to the semis.

Does that mean she's a medallist by default, like Taylah Robertson was in last year's Commonwealth Games?

Fadda lost after a complete domination. After this i finish to watch this shame.

Saw the bout to get a sense of it

First round - Fadda dominated clearly her round

Second round - More even in terms of punches hitting , The MGL boxer fell down after a blow , : I would give to Fadda again

Third Round - Faddas punches were a bit wild , MGL landed more punches and more effective than camilla - I would give the Round to MGL

Overall though I felt Fadda was dominant and I would expect a  4-1 or 5-0 in her favour , a 3-2 was ridiculous , The judges who ruled  in Fadda gave it 30-27 ,whereas the others gave it marginally to MGL ......... Just another of AIBAs Crap decisions
