Our NOC claim that it's the 600th medal, but wiki say 739th. So who knows

Somewhat annoyed at the track cycling commentators who keep talking about 'he' in the B (tandem) events....as if the pilot is barely putting in effort and only steering.

Counting only medals earned by athletes at the Summer Paralympics, that should be the 602nd medal earned by an Italian athlete according the IPC database.

Afraid the blind tandem events are a bit of a scam since they allowed ex-pro, ex-Olympian riders to be the pilots.

The pilots don't control the speed, they just guide the athlete.
