They demolished the Calgary luge track, right? I can't see them bidding for another WOG after a move like that given how the luge track is always the main financial dead weight when it comes to WOG bids.

It just needs renovations. I really don't see Calgary going for it. Vancouver has all the venues still, and has a very organized bid committee for 2030. They can easily come in swipe the games with a plan. 

 

Though the COC wants a bid with Toronto/Montreal (together) for a summer games first.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has approved adding "together" into the Olympic motto. The move of adding "together" into the Olympic motto of "faster, higher, stronger" was unanimously approved at the 138th IOC session.
