Could see some issues about those under 18 being tested using tests that are illegal for all in some countries. https://news.sky.com/story/if-women-must-stop-competing-so-be-it-semenyas-rallying-cry-over-olympics-transgender-athlete-ban-13525463

Except for the British tabloid and way too many online trolls :/

Well, I know British tabloids can be obnoxious but I don't know if any of them accused her of being a DSD athlete...

The thing that makes me even more suspicious is how will the "tests" be conducted... Do you need to submit blood samples? Show your genitals? Seems like a lot to mess with and be messed with. Hell, I am a large bearded dude and I am not sure I will be comfortable with any physical examination.

Plus it's funny- that's for all sports? Including shooting? Even, including fencing that has mixed gender tournaments in regionals/nationals?

it's a basic genetic test

have you ever watched tv series like csi? or have you ever had to take a tampon in the covid years?

it's as simple as that ;)

the ethical questions are just another level, but physically there's nothing invasive nor humiliating and not even against any religion

If it's just a blood test (like the one taken to detect doing), I hace no objections. I still think the ban should be on a per-sport basis with the decision of the sport's parent organization, since gender differences matter much less in certain sport than in others.

Just my two cents.

It's not even a blood test. They swab inside your mouth to collect DNA to test

However it is illegal in some countries which the IOC is aware of, And which could cause issues particularly for those under 18.
