I hope one day she marries ecuatorian race walker Andres Chocho, means the same as Fica in spanish :p

Or (If she prefers women :p) the spanish football player, Ana Buceta. It's the same problem in Portuguese.

no, they definitely don't have many chances (unless you can persuade Nikki Van Dijk to switch from AUS to NED)...

Do you know why she didn't do this?

Europe: the most imprevisible. :NED:FRA:GER:ISR are the best countries so far, with surfers in Round 4. :POR:SUI:ITA:NOR:RUS:ESP:DEN:IRL:TUR:GBR have surfers in Repechage.

France is obvious...but the other 3...where do they come from? then, it's true...the world is not anymore the one we used to know...

no idea...probably she doesn't care that much about the Olympics, she's just interested in her Pro/WSL career (and for that, as an Australian she has more advantage than being from NED)...

Ella Williams from :NZL finished the competition as the best surfer from her continent and got the Oceania quota. She lost her heat at Repechage Round 5, and ended the event in the 29th place. The Australians surfers still are in the competition, but, as I said, they will qualify through WSL.

Bianca Buitendag also got a quota to :RSA She will be the best athlete from Africa in this competition.

In Asia, :JPN's already secured its quota, as well. Shino Matsuda will be the best athlete of this continent.

Will she finish 14th or higher? That's a selection requirement from SASCOC.

Nice to know, I did not know that. But, yes. If she gets the worst position, she'll be in the 8th place
