That was a classic!! Good enough to grace any stage of the World Championship. Both players have my respect

Wonderful match indeed!

Besides Van Barneveld, the other analist happened to be Vincent van der Voort (you know, Fast Vinnie). He said some interesting stuff about players like himself who throw fast: "If it's not going well, you have a problem, because it's even harder to take a breath and calm down for a minute. But when things are going well, you feel like you're unstoppable." Evans showed that last year, when it wasn't working at all against Whitlock, but suddenly...damn, everything that Evans tried worked and he destroyed Whitlock :d

Analyst....

Make sure not to make that mistake again;)

I don't wanna be too anal about it, but there is no way John Bowles is only 49.

Hard to believe. But then again we have to believe that Dean Winstanley is 35 :d. I still remember when he was in his 20s and he looked 50 :d

Yep, another one of those that are lying about their age...it's like Eritrean distance runners :p

Luckily there's Lakeside with Paula Jacklin, who is 59 but only looks like she's 25.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
    • FIFA announced the stadium and time for each match   for  Iran, it will be 2 matches in LA (and not just 1) and 1 in Seattle and luckily we avoided playing in Canada. absolutely nothing against the country, but there are just too many douchebag Iranian groups in Vancouver trying to mix everything with their stupid politics. it's better to stay away from them.   that can happen in US too but less likely. playing in LA is more like playing at home, at least I hope so. 2022 Qatar was a disaster from our point of view, hopefully this one remains only about football.
