Yes he did :d 

 

Frank Vischschraper is the co-commentator, Jacques Nieuwlaat is our main darts commentator since a million years. Nieuwlaat is also the mastercaller at most events in the Netherlands and a few minutes ago he was talking about his professional "career":

 

In 2009 he was going to a Pro Tour event in Austria as driver of Roland Scholten (I guess you know him? He's often an analyst on Dutch TV nowadays). On Friday there was a qualifying tournament and, being there anyway, Nieuwlaat decided to enter it for fun. He qualified, then lost in the first round of the Pro Tour tournament on Saturday, like Scholten (against another well-known Dutchman, Vincent van der Voort). On Sunday Scholten lost out in the 1st round, but Nieuwlaat made the 2nd round so Scholten had to wait for his 'driver' to finish the tournament :d (which he did in the 2nd round when losing 6-2 against John Part)

      Finals are set    An all-Canadian final on the women’s side, as Team Homan looks to win their third title of the season (and improve to 18-1) against a hungry Team Einarson who have had a less than ideal start to the season, they were also the last Canadian team to beat Homan over a year ago (same event coincidentally), while on the men’s side it’ll be a battle between Olympic medalists as Team Mouat goes against Team Gushue!

      yeah I know    I mean it wasn't a different team specific for that sport. it was the same CC team participating in both sports.

      from what I heard , Iran has registered to participate in Alpine, CC skiing, SkiMo, Skating (they didn't mention which discipline ) and ... (this one will be surprising ) ... Curling    Curling is not a sure thing yet, the NOC has to approve it. the team is very new. I mean very very new, only few months ago they gathered few people to start the sport  you can't lose 100-0 in Curling, right ?    anyway it will be first time ever Iran participating outside of FIS disciplines. ( I didn't count Ski orienteering in 2011 which was the same as CC)   nobody cares about winter sports here. therefore finishing last won't have consequences. they can afford sending very weak teams. (which is not the case for the main Asian Games)

      11 medals out of 15 athletes. for whatever reason  we sent an incomplete team of 16 athletes (only 1 left for tomorrow) I wish I knew why  I can guess though   the result is indeed very good in such a competitive sport but lack of talent was never our problem in taekwondo. it was always there probably much more than any other country.    but the problem is the transition to the senior team. most of previous junior world champions never even made the senior team. (the new federation is doing better in this regard though)
